Guest # 02

Some time ago we decided that our tiny guest room upstairs can be available for both professional and personal reasons alike. Read more about that here. We only ask a small favour in return: a small and personal first impression of the neighbourhood, in relation to our guests’ experiences with projects such as KijkRuimte.

Our second guest was Japanese artist Wataru Nakamura. He works with multi-coloured synthetic clay to produce tiny sculptures. He was part of the Artzuid International Sculpture Route. Find out more about Wataru here.

He was our guest for almost two weeks. When he left, we found the piece below with a note from Wataru. So, what does this say about the neighbourhood? First thoughts are some words: volatile, transient, variable, intangible. What are your thoughts?
